ABED Goolam Hoosain Peacefully, after a short illness, on the 20th June 2026, Goolam aged 91 years. Much loved Husband of the late Jean, loving Stepfather to Lynn and Greg, proud Grandad of Michael and Greg and a dear Brother, Uncle and Friend to many, here and in South Africa. 'A truly remarkable man, a gentleman in every sense of the word, who touched the lives of so many' Funeral service to be held at Bilal Jamia Mosque, Bulwer Street, Rochdale, OL16 2EU on Tuesday 23rd June at 2.00pm followed by interment at Denehurst Cemetery. All are welcome to attend. A celebration of Goolam's life will be held at a later date.
